Over the course of 55 years, EL & EL Wood Products had grown to be one of the largest distributors of mouldings and millwork products in California, Nevada, Arizona, and parts of Utah. Today, we are still a family-owned company, now known as Metrie EL & EL, committed to providing superior customer service, product quality, and product selection, unparalleled in the wood industry today.
In 2022, EL & EL Wood Products was acquired by Metrie in their largest-ever acquisition. Similar to EL & EL, Metrie is family-owned and a long-time market leader in the moulding, millwork, and the door business in Canada and across the US, with one notable exception — California. The region EL & EL Wood Products has served with distinction for 55 years was the missing piece of the customer service puzzle for Metrie. So, the fit was perfect!
Today, we are STILL the same people that care greatly for each and every customer, whom we consider our extended family. We have just adopted a new name, Metrie EL & EL.

We offer a wide range of closet door options to fit every taste and budget. Hollow core and solid core molded doors from our Signature Collection can be used for closet doors. We also offer other types of closet doors including glass closet doors, mirrored closet doors, and louvered closet doors.
Pocket Doors
Pocket doors are an elegant and space-saving way to provide privacy and separate rooms. In rooms or areas where there isn’t enough space for the door to swing To separate rooms with doors that can be hidden into the wall but also closed for privacy or separation As an architectural effect Standard pocket door sliders are available in FJ Pine and VG Douglas Fir, Solid Pine, Red Oak, Poplar, Alder, and Cherry. Other species are available by special order.

Each EL&EL Wood Products barn door is built with authentic stile and rail construction by hand. Our barn doors are built solid and authentic, putting them in a league of their own. Our barn doors have center/cross mulls that are full thickness making sure that the stile meets flush at the stile and rail joints for a truly custom finish.
